Is it definitely JSA you’re claiming or is it Universal Credit?1

Old style jsa income based0

You can continue to claim JSA for up to 13 weeks as an extended period of sickness providing you haven't taken extended period of sickness within the past 12 months. If it lasts longer than this then you must claim UC and report your health condition, provided by a fit note.See Extended period of sickness R2957 https://assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/1084812/admr2.pdf

But do I have to go to this appointment. If I’ve supplied a fit for work note0

I don't believe you would have to attend and WFI for those 13 weeks.

Hope all's going well with your recovery @cris3851! Just checking in, how did you get on with this? Did you manage to find out whether you had to go to your appointment?0

I have to go to all appointments at the job centre as I’m on old style JSA0

Claiming Income Related JSA shouldn’t make any difference here. Have you provided a fit note previously in the past 12 months? If so then this could be the reason why.0
