Hi,
i gave my fit note in from November 22nd 2022 untill may 14th 2023 then 14th may 2023 untill 30th july. I then got awarded lcw i appealed and got turned down again so i applied to have a tribunal then uc contacted me and awarded lcwra. I had a letter saying they are only paying me from june 23 but if im correct i should be back paid from February or march? I get paid twice monthly on 12th and 26th
thank you

Based on that information your waiting period will be Dec/Jan, Jan/Feb, Feb/March.. LCWRA starts from 6th March to 5th April and first payment will be 12th April. This is because there's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time. The extra money is then paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition/sent your first fit note. Payment is then made at the end of that 4th month because UC is paid 1 month in arrears.0

When you requested it, did you specifically state that you would like to request the MR on the decision to find you fit for work?ashmalik2808 said:Hi I continuously upload my fit notes from June 22.in September they send me papers and my assessment was on 25 April

Fit notes are no longer accepted? I don't understand this..0

When you’re found fit for work no further fit notes should be accepted for that health condition. If you’re continuing to send them and they’ve been accepted then I’m very shocked.ashmalik2808 said:Fit notes are no longer accepted? I don't understand this..0 -
No no I send my fit notes that I am not fit for work because I have osteoarthritis of knee, hypothyroid, high diabetes, high cholesterol, anxiety and depression.0
-
Yes i realise that but usually they won't accept any further fit notes unless it's for a significantly worsening of an existing condition or a completely new condition.
