Pip tribunal

Hi just came across this group as researching pip tribunal. I am appointee for my adult son with ADHD Asd. We have had tribunal cancelled twice  due again in just over a week. Any help and tips would be much appreciated. This has been going on for nearly 2 years

    Hopefully some more of our members will be along shortly to share their experiences, but I just wanted to say hello and welcome you.

    One thing I will say is that lots of people find tribunals a completely different experience to the other stages of the claim. It can be a very difficult process, but many people have positive results at this stage.

    Something that might be helpful is to keep some notes close by with examples of how your son's difficulties affect him in his day to day life, so you can easily refer to them when asked. Try to give as much detail as you can on each question.

    Hiya @leylo42 and a big welcome from me too!

    I know it's a lot easier said than done, but don't panic.  I've had two tribunals so far and they were worlds apart from the assessments. The tribunal felt a lot more relaxed and the people there were actually interested in what I had to say and they really listened, even when I stumbled over my words or had panic attacks.  Just have some notes with you as Rosie suggested and take your time. :)
