in Universal Credit (UC)
morning all
just after some advice. Ive been on UC for ages as a single parent. Have just been awarded LWCRA. Ive been providing full no gap sicknotes since beginning May 23 (6 months nearly as next one runs out in nov)…. Will i get payment on nov 5th which is my next UC payment? Apologies if this keeps being asked.

    You haven't provided enough of information for me to be able to advise you. I'll need to know the answer to the following questions.

    What date exactly did you reported your health condition/provide your first fit note?
    Is 5th of every month when you usually receive your payment?

    yes around 1st may was first sick note.
    5th yes is UC payment date

    You can check on your journal the exact date for the first fit note.

    Based on the information you gave your waiting period will be May/June, June/July, July/August.. LCWRA starts from assessment period 30th August to 29th September and first payment will be 5th October so they owe you 1 months LCWRA element for this month.

    Money owed will be paid separately to your usual monthly money and often takes quite a few weeks to pay it. 

    You need to check your next statement to make sure the LCWRA element is included.
