So my friend waited a whole 2 years and had a phone call from the clerk from the tribunal and was told he dosent need an interview and won the appeal because they’ve seen enough evidence this morning by the judge and doctor and was originally awarded lcw and changed to Lcwra now they so happy right now it was a phone call appeal

Oh @jamie2471 that's amazing news, big congratulations to your friend from me and the team! I bet your friend is over the moon now?0

Fabulous news @jamie2471 Make sure you friend is aware that there will be a backpayment from the time they made a change of circumstances that triggered the assessment for LCWRA. This is because they were already LCW. As long as they had an unbroken stream of fit notes it will go back all the time they've been doing this. Recently, I moved from LCW to LCWRA and DWP's letter said it was effective from the date the decision was made, not the start of my claim for the change. I did a MR for this and they then changed it. This is my thread here https://forum.scope.org.uk/discussion/comment/736310#Comment_736310 where you will see that Poppy made such a difference because I would not have otherwise known and just gone along with what DWP said in their letter. The difference? Just over £1500!

Did your friend hand in fit/sick notes with no breaks between them? I think that makes a difference in when they'll pay from?
Hopefully one of our superstar regulars will be able to give some definitive answers here soon.0 -
Yes they did report coc on the 28th Jan 2022 and uploaded fit note started from 25jan to 25 march 2022Albus_Scope said:Did your friend hand in fit/sick notes with no breaks between them? I think that makes a difference in when they'll pay from?

Ok, best if we keep this to one thread, so it'll be best if people reply on the other post you made here;
