Hi I had a call from pip this morning saying I was supposed to send evidence (I sent by email not knowing it had to be done by post) the woman was happy to listen to my evidence instead of sending in. She said it would take 10-14 days for decision. But then rang back asking for my bank details, if I’d been in prison/hospital/care home and also asked if I were able to managed a lump sum? Can anyone advise on what this means please I know it’s probably been asked before but it’s playing on my mind and just would like someone to explain. Thank you in advance

    That’s the questions they ask sometimes before making payment when there’s an award. Though this isn’t guaranteed because it has been known for them to ask those questions in preparation for what may happen. 

    Is this a first time claim, Trubunal decision, MR?
