Hi everyone
First time posting.
First time posting.
I’m single, on UC and have 2 children of primary school age. My disability has deteriorated and I’ve had to stop working. I’ve been assessed and UC have granted me LCWRA. In my flare-ups I need additional help with childcare in the support of breakfast club or afterschool club (when I need a little extra time to move etc).
Can I claim for childcare on UC does anyone know?

Unfortunately, not. In this situation because you're not living with a working partner than you will not be able to claim for help with childcare, even though you've been found to have LCWRA. https://www.entitledto.co.uk/help/childcare-overview-universal-credit

Hey there @cheryld and welcome to the community. I hope you're doing well today?
I can see the wonderful Poppy is helping you, but I just wanted to say hi.
If you wanted to chat to everyone later, or maybe join in with some of the games, then I'd highly recommend the Coffee Lounge category.
