PIP decision made-no assessment

Hi, like it says in the title, had my text from the dwp this morning saying they've made a decision. Had no assessment at all so worried about what to expect. Sorry for going on about PIP a lot recently in this forum but this has all been too much stress.

Sounds like you had a paper based assessment because they had enough of information not to need an actual assessment. In my opinion, it’s not such a bad thing. You can ring PIP auto ask them what the decision was and they will be able to tell you, despite the text advising you not to ring.

Hi, just rang the pip number and the robot voice told me my next PIP payment is on the 7th... good news? Or does that not necessarily mean that I keep my PIP?0

Good news finally! Gathered up the courage to ring pip enquiry line- was told by the very nice person I spoke to that I've been awarded PIP again until 2026- thanks to everyone here for all the help and support.0
