    Oh that's such a shame @Ada I hope you get an appointment with your consultant and they find something to help! My dog was also terrified of the fireworks last night. Ended up making her a den!

    Just checked the weather for bonfire night and it's dry, so will be plenty going  off here, will try get the neighbours cat in if he's out. I'm not going to one this year.

    I'm not too bad thanks,I've just taken the dog for a quick walk in the rain.

    I wasn't sure she'd want to go outside because we've heard a few fireworks but she was quite keen.

    No I'm not going to one this year, I do like fireworks actually but I don't like the crowds of people.

    My family went to one on Friday but I stayed at home with the dog because there were fireworks going off near my house and the dog was scared

    I just found a brochure for the Ford Cortina from around 1975.

    It's really interesting looking at it.

    Wing mirrors were optional extras.

    Also has some advertising language that would be seen as quite sexist today.

    What I found most interesting was that they try to push it as a "lifestyle" vehicle with a "good image" and a "status symbol". I thought the concept that people bought their cars as a lifestyle-image-type-thing was relatively modern but obviously not!
