hi, I’m new to this page so hope I’m using it correctly! I have recently had 2 assessments for LCWRA and PIP, if I’m awarded, I currently work 9 hours a week but it is a big struggle. If I leave my job will I be sanctioned? Also, I am a single parent to a two year old, if I am no longer working will I not be able to claim back childcare costs? Will I still get the 15 hours term time only? And when she turns 3 will I still get 15 hours or will it go up to 30? Thank you! Sorry for all the questions trying to find the answers online is a bit of a maze!

It's unlikely you will be sanctioned if you leave your job because of a health condition. For 15 hours free childcare you will be entitled to this as you're claiming UC and your child is 2. https://www.gov.uk/help-with-childcare-costs/free-childcare-2-year-oldsFor 30 hours free childcare once your child reaches 3 then i'm afraid you need to be working to be entitled to this because you're a single parent. https://www.gov.uk/30-hours-free-childcare You can continue with 15 hours free childcare once they reach 3.
If you're currently claiming child care costs through UC then you won't be able to claim for this if you stop working. Lots more information here. https://www.gingerbread.org.uk/find-information/working/childcare/

Thank you, am I right in understanding the 30 hours you need to be working 16 hours at minimum wage too? Thank you for replying so quickly and helping me. I’ve used scope throughout my application process it’s been so helpful x0

You're welcome. It's not so much the hours you need to work, it's your earnings. Depending on your age you must expect to earn the following amounts in the past 3 months. Please do read the links i posted above because all the information is in there.
Your income
Over the next 3 months you and your partner (if you have one) must each expect to earn at least:
- £2,167 if you’re aged 23 or over
- £2,117 if you’re aged 21 or 22
- £1,557 if you’re aged 18 to 20
- £1,098 if you’re under 18 or an apprentice
