LCW appeal - is there a chance they'll reassess me as capable for work?

Hello, I’ve just found out I’ve been accepted for LCW, if I asked for reconsideration for this as I feel like it should be LCWRA is there a chance they’d reassess me as capable for work? Any tips would be great thank you. I’ve requested a copy of my assessment report.

Hello @YasminWild, welcome to the community.
Hopefully some of our more experienced members will be along shortly to offer their advice, but as far as I'm aware, it would be unlikely they'd downgrade you to being totally capable for work at mandatory reconsideration. The decision is more likely to remain the same (keeping you on LCW) or upgrading you to LCWRA.
It's always good to have a copy of your report so you can see if there are any inaccuracies and go from there, you've done the right thing so far in requesting it

It unlikely but it can and does happen. When you request the MR please do not concentrate wholly on the report because that isn't going to get you the LCWRA award. You need to state which descriptor you think applies to you and why.

That’s great thank you both for your help!
