Just awarded lcwra, question about back payments?

I have just been awarded lcwra, I’m very confused if someone could please help I would be very grateful.
I started putting my sick notes in on the 19 may 2023 does anyone know when I will receive a payment and if I will accrue any back payments . I’m still waiting for payment and it’s now 15th November.

    There's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time and the extra money is paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition/sent your first fit note. Payment is then made at the end of that 4th month. It's not paid at all during the waiting period.

    Without knowing what dates your assessment periods cover, or what date you usually receive your money each month it's not possible to tell you exactly when it's paid from.

    Based on the information you gave your first payment will be either Sept or Oct. Assuming there were no gaps in your fit notes and you're not claiming UC with a partner that already receives the LCWRA element on your claim.

    My fit notes have been going in since 19 th may and my last sick note ends 27th November , they have said I no longer have to submit them . 
    It’s all very confusing .

    our our universal credit payment is usually made on the 27th of each month . I just don’t understand any of it . I do suffer badly with my memory and understanding things .

    That means your waiting period will be May/June, June/July, July/Aug... LCWRA starts from 21st Aug to 20th Sept and first payment will be 27th September. This means up to now they owe you 2 months LCWRA element.

    Money owed will be paid separately to your usual monthly money and often takes quite a few weeks to pay it. Once your statements have been recalculated you will receive a letter on your journal telling you how much is owed and it will be paid into your bank.

    You will need to check your next statement to make sure the LCWRA element is included.
