Hello I'm looking for advice on LCWRA I just got an award letter in my journal received my statement few days later but there has been no LCWRA awarded for this month... My payment is the 18th of every month i uploaded my first sick note on the 14th of July got my letter about a week ago when will I be due my first payment and am I entitled to any back pay?

    There's a full 3 month assessment period waiting time and the extra money is paid from the 4th month after you reported your health condition/provided your first fit note. Payment is then made at the end of that 4th month. It's not paid at all during the waiting period.

    Based on the information you gave, if the 14th July was the same date you reported your health condition as well then your waiting period will be as follows.

    August/Sept, Sept/Oct, Oct/Nov... LCWRA starts from assessment period 12th Nov to 11th Dec and first payment will be 18th December. No LCWRA element is owed.

    If you or a partner were receiving earnings since you reported your health condition and you didn't previously have the work allowance then you will be owed some money for that.

    Thankyou so you don't get paid at all for that three months? The uc advisors said you did think they have no clue sometimes

    No you don't. If it was the helpline that advised you that then they are not advisors. They are call centre staff with very little benefits knowledge, other than reading from a screen.

    Update... I just got a message in my journal saying the have started it from the 4th of August when I uploaded my sick note not from when the sick note was dated so does this men's I should be due my first payment in my next award wich will be 18th December?
