Hello,
I watched The Autumn Statement yesterday. It said Universal Credit and other benefits were to rise by 6.7% next year. I just read a tread from Benefits and Work which said 1. All reassessments for ESA will no longer go ahead unless claimant has a change in health condition or is suspected of fraud. 2. It doesn't mention 6.7% uprating for ESA or JSA. I have looked for it on the internet and it only says for UC and other disability benefits but doesn't say for ESA. Is the uprating of 6.7% for ESA as well as not mention anywhere. Also confused about what it says on Benefits and Work about reassessments. Thank You for any replies.

The 6.7% uprating is for all benefits. 8.5% for State Pension. Local Housing allowance is also increasing for those that privartely rent their home.

Hello,
Thank You for your reply. It only mentions UC and other benefits which ESA doesn't seem to be on the list which makes it so confusing. Thanks for clearing that up for me.0 -
No problem. When benefits uprate in April, it always applies to all benefits, not just UC.
