Last week i recieved a letter stating my pip assesment is coming up but this morning I recieved a text from dwp saying
''A Health Professional is looking at your PIP claim. They will contact you with an appointment if they need to. You only need to contact us if your circumstances change.''
What does this mean? All I can think about is my assesment and it is keeping me up at night.
Can anyone help with what this text means please when I'm yet to have my assesment.

They have already sent me an assesment date which I recieved last week. My assessment is booked for next week that is why I am confused by the text.0

Just ignore the text, it was likely sent in error. You’ve already received an appointment for the assessment.0

Hi there @UnluckyLady and welcome to the community.

I understand your confusion, sometimes automated texts are sent even after your claim has moved on.0 -
Thankyou0
