Do dwp check medical records or ask doctor for proof of what diagnosis's u have said u have for lcwra

They don’t check medical records. During a work capability assessment process they may contact someone like a GP but if they do they are only sent a form to fill in and return. Though, this is rare.0

The reason I ask is because I had my paperwork for PIP tribunal turn up and there is a letter from WCA and it says a diagnosis I never said anything about on the letter0

What happens if they say I have lied on WCA0

Sometimes they will send information from another benefit claim such as the WCA. It’s not about a diagnosis anyway.0
