Does anybody else out there have chronic pain & invisible disabilities but a v low tolerance for quotes that are super cheesy? Self care is SO important, so going into the holidays I put together 9 of my favorite quotes on the topic, especially self care with invisible disabilities like fibromyalgia or mental health issues. And hopefully they're wise without giving you a cavity!
But what did I leave out? I want to hear your favorite quote about self care! There's so much wisdom out there and I'd love to hear what resonates with you. (And if you like one of these quotes, I'd love to hear which one!)

Don't run away from your fears because when they catch up you will be too tired to fight them0 -
"If at first you don't succeed, it's ok to give up for a while."
Which leads on to one of my favorite quotes, which my therapist is now using;“Dude, sucking at sumthin’ is the first step towards being sorta good at something.” - Jake the dog, Adventure Time.
So basically, be gentle with yourself.0 -
