Is it possible to request a home visit or telephone assessment for a new PIP claim? I have anxiety issues and just could not face a journey and assessment interview. Finding the forms extremely stressful! Not easy to put into words how illness affects one’s daily life.

You can request a telephone assessment, which most are this way anyway. If you do receive an appointment for a face to face assessment you can contact the health assessment providers and change it.
They have done home assessments since before the pandemic.0 -

Thank you! I shall. It appears, from what I read, it can take months before claim is even looked at!0
