Hi I am new to this group and my name is steve
12 years ago I was diagnosed with prostate cancer 
long story short. But I’ve had various treatments over the years and fought hard to beat it 
we don’t talk openly about prostate cancer amongst us men and really should 
it’s an eye opener 
any way after various hospitals treating me 
it has now spread in to the spine 
with words from my consultant 
that’s it’s not curable but treatable 
words I didn’t want to hear 
but if there is is guys on here that are  
considering getting checked for prostate cance
DO IT NOW 
don’t delay 
I was only 48 when I was diagnosed 
we really must talk about it

    Welcome to the community. I am so sorry it has spread, and yes, I agree with you 100% that everyone should check their privates for Cancer.

    It's definitely important to get checked out, especially in parts of the body that can be a bit more taboo to talk about. Thanks for sharing your story and raising awareness, I hope you'll enjoy getting to know everyone on the community :)
