You’re welcome. 1 day and night in hospital will not affect your PIP award. It’s only if you’re in for longer than 28 days and the day you go in and come home do not count.

Your other surgeries are not changes that need reporting.

You’re very welcome. Just to add a little more information to this here.

You’re welcome. 1 day and night in hospital will not affect your PIP award. It’s only if you’re in for longer than 28 days and the day you go in and come home do not count.

If you go back into hospital within 28 days then they are linking days which will count towards the 28 days.

    Yeah. I was worried that
they'll they'll turn my operation (joint replacement) that I had into a new claim....couldn't bear it.
And/or I'll be in trouble for not notifying them of the operation or going into hospital.
I worry about every little thing.

Just to clarify it's all my lower half that gives me pain and poor mobility. So  it was 1 of my lower joints that was replaced.

You only need to report changes in your health condition if it means you can either score more points for a higher award or you would score less points for a lower award.
