Just wanted to let people know, I just saw this tweet from the DWP, I'll copy and paste it...

''

 - We're delighted @MimsDavies has been appointed as the Minister for Disabled People, Health and Work @DWPgovuk, taking forward our next generation of welfare reforms to tear down barriers to work for disabled people across the UK and continuing to protect those most in need.''

Interesting to see her background.  She's been working in the DWP since July 2019, her father was "on benefits for a head injury for 25 years" and she co chaired the APPG for carers.
But her voting history saw her voting against increasing benefits for those unable to work/chronically ill. She actually voted for reductions in disabled benefits.

no need to wait. her voting record speaks for itself.

and also it's quite ironic she hides behind having a relative who's disabled to justify her credentials.

in related news, many disabled people tend to be systemically abused - sometimes fatally - by their caregivers. so her alleged credentials mean nothing.

Yes, I agree, it does seem that way.
