Worried dwp decision maker will go against report

Hiya guys I'm new here so hi π I had a paper based assessment done for pip on the 30th of Nov 2 weeks ago. I currently suffer severe symptoms of complex ptsd manic depression and extreme anxiety I havnt left the house alone since June it's that bad and am on 3 different medications whilst they try and stabilise my symptoms and get me ready for therapy. Long story short I asked for a copy of my assessment and I'm pleased to see I scored 19 in daily living and 12 on the mobility all scored by capita. Are the dwp decision makers likely to agree with the assessment as I'm worried. The anxiety waiting for a answer is honestly really hard to cope with π

It's very rare they go against the report but it can happen. Usually they do go with it. Decision timescales are anything up to 12 weeks after the report was returned. Once a decision is made you will be contacted.

Thanks very much for the reply π I know your more than likely correct just I always expect the worst and sometimes feel like assurance is needed. I'll try my best to wait patiently for their decision. Just got a txt saying they have not yet made a decision which I'm assuming is a automated message they send out to people randomly? Or should this be considered bad? Once again I appreciate your last reply π0

Itβs a standard text and doesnβt mean anything other than what it says.Β1
