Hi i get carers element in with my UC to care for my dad. My dad is on Attendance allowance. But he has been in hospital for nearly 28 days so it will be temporary suspended till he is home. Where do i stand with the carers element with my UC will it just get temporary suspended.

You need to report the changes that he's been in hospital for 28 days. Once he's home you can then reclaim it. Please note, they day he goes in and comes home doesn't count for the 28 day period.

Thank you poppy 123456. How will that effect my UC with the work commitments with being his carer.0

You will be treated as a job seeker. One thing to point out is that UC is based on your circumstances on the last day of each assessment period. You can't be paid an element for part of an assessment period. This means that if for example the last day of your assessment period is 30th of the month and you reported changes to your caring on 27th of the month then you will not receive the carers element for that month.
