Hello, looking for sickness advice
Hi, I've recently been diagnosed with a registered disability and am surprised how difficult it is to find out information with regards to employment rules. I'm struggling to find anything relating to whether or not my employer has to pay me my full salary when I'm unable to work. Could anyone help me out here.

Heya @LJCooke and welcome to the community.

Have you looked at the ACAS site? They tend to have a tonne of information on work related things.
We also have lots of info on our website which I've linked here.
With regard to pay, it should state in your contract, or you could ask HR for more information on how they do things. It tends to vary from company to company, but often it tends to be full pay for x months, then down to half pay after that.

LJ hi I'm pretty sure after two years' service you have improved rights but someone else will know the details

Your employment contract will specify the terms governing how sick pay is handled.LJCooke said:Hi, I've recently been diagnosed with a registered disability and am surprised how difficult it is to find out information with regards to employment rules. There is no automatic right to any sort of company payment when sick whether it is via a disability or otherwise. Your terms and conditions will state clearly whether your employer offers any sick pay scheme and what it comprises off.1
