Has pip claim been rejected?

A friend of mine has a pip claim. She submitted all her information in Feb 23, first interview was June 23, second interview was October 23. Still nothing! Would she hear either way via text, email, letter? Trying to figure out if she's missed anything. I believe pip don't tell you anything.
She seems quite resigned to things being vague but I've been helping her financially so it affects me too
Any info you have is useful.
Thanks

I thought pip wouldn't tell you anything?
General question - is anyone else waiting this long?0 -
They will be able to give them some information on why it’s taking so long. We can only guess what the reason is.If this is a new claim then it shouldn’t take that long. New claims are usually quicker than reviews.1

Does your friend mention why there were 2 interviews at all? They've received no letters or texts from the DWP?
Also, as Poppy mentions, is it a new claim or a review of an existing award?0 -
New claim. I'll find out the rest.0
