Pip Renewal - can I use the same information I used last time?

Hello All ☺️

Just as above really, I have all the relevant information typed up on the Mac from my daughter's last renewal, not much has changed (she has a history of mental health struggles along with OCD, a LD and Autism) but now she has an official diagnosis of Tourettes.

I have done this already in parts, but wanted advice to see if it's okay if I copy and paste this information and add any relevant parts, or will the DWP be expecting a whole new set of answers, as I'm not sure if they compare the two forms and will think I'm just being lazy!

(My family's all had Covid, after taking care of them, I'm now just recovering from Covid myself and feel so tired, it would be great to get this done a tiny bit quicker!)

Thanks so much everyone ☺️

I’m my reviews they have always looked at my previous claim, including the assessment report. They did the same for my daughter.

For this reason if it was me then I wouldn’t just copy and paste what you put last time.

I’m also going through my review and I have what I sent for my last review but will be sending knew information and extra evidence.

Don’t forget to include a couple of real world incidents of exactly what happened the last time she attempted each descriptor that applies.

You can also ring to request an extra couple of weeks to return the form. I will be doing the same by the end of this week.

That's actually really helpful to know, thank you so much Poppy.

And yes, I have already asked for an extension which they kindly agreed to, after we lost my Mum in September.
I still have three weeks before the deadline, so two weeks to finish it, so that's fine.

Wishing you all the best with your form too 😊

    Hi again everyone 😊

    Another question please?
My youngest's PIP review paperwork was sent (off as discussed above) and we are now waiting to hear back, I know the wait is long from reading other threads here.

We now have an up to date letter (potential supporting evidence) from her neuro consultant (tbos one is dated 2024, most letters sent were dated from 2020 through to early 2023)
Can I (and should I?) send a copy of this letter to add it to the review and if so, where and whom should I send it to?
Thanks in advance for any advice.. 😊

If you think it will help and it's relevant to exactly how their conditions affect them then yes you can send it to PIP. I'm afraid i can't tell you what the address is because it depends which area you're in. You can ring them to ask them for the address.

As Poppy says, if you think it'll help explain the difficulties your youngest faces then definitely send her report through. You will have to call PIP for the exact address however! Don't forget to make sure her name and National Insurance number are on an accompanying letter which explains what the evidence is. Good luck @Luna51, to both you and your daughter.

Thank you both Poppy and @Jimm_Scope 😊

But reading it again, the information is not anything particularly new, it's just outlining her diagnoses (as before) and the long term difficulties we are having trying to find her appropriate, local support.
It's been mentioned before but it's dated this year and I know the DWP like up to date information.
I might just wait and see and perhaps add it in when/if we have a call or face to face assessment..
    Thanks again

And just to say, I really do appreciate this forum and the lovely people here who help all of us, every day ❤️
