Hi, im was due my EESA at midnght (fri) today. Nothings been paid, im also on PIP which has just been re newed for another year, as PIP renewlls are so baclogged.
the thing is ive not been reviewed for ESA in years now & ive had 0 letters info saying anything has changed, just my PIP is sill in the queue for review....the last payment was my full ESA but on the bank it said JSA..
Ill ring them at 8am, but im very alone right now... i have no support right now and im very anxious, ive worked SO hard over the past few years on PIP trying to get mentally well...
People get jelous thinking i have free money and dont see the pain as its not all pysical...
I have -£10 in the bank as ive been trying to pay off debts and be a normal memeber of society... guess im just nervous writing this to kill time, but id love to know if anyone else today on EESA hassnt been paid?
thank you and good luck in life,

If your PIP was extended because it was due to end then this can cause your ESA to be suspended because the system detected a change and those working at ESA didn't notice that. It happened to me back in 2021 i think it was.If you still haven't received it then give them a ring and they can make a same day payment.0

thank you for the reply, it was a glitch and they have made a fast payment... i forgot how anxious it makes people, but the guy was nice n helpful and sorted it.

I was expecting ESA payment on Friday too, but it's not come into my bank. Last payment I received was 22nd December and description was normal. I'm not on PIP. I have a few savings to tide me over but any sort of hitch makes me anxious. I haven't received any letters or anything so I'm going to assume there's some sort of Christmas backlog.0

I don't know what you mean by "the description was normal"Was the 22nd December your normal payment day or were you paid early because of the Christmas closing days?If it was your normal payment date then you will need to ring them when they open tomorrow at 8am because they are the only ones that can tell you what's happened.0

Thanks for response poppy. It was early, the normal date would have been the 25th as the previous payment was on the 11th. I said the description was normal because the original poster said their bank statement showed the description of their last payment as "JSA".
If the next regular payment is 14 calendar days after the last normal payment date (in my case the 25th) then I can expect it in tomorrow I suppose.0 -

When money is paid early your next payment will be 2 weeks after the date you should have received the last one. Early payment dates just mean you have to wait longer until your next one.My last ESA payment date was also 22nd but should have been 27th. This means my next one is Wed 10th.

Hi
I was due my ESA today which has always been on time but it hasn’t been paid into my bank. I have received £25 cold weather payment today but no ESA. Could the CWP have messed up my ESA?
thankyou0 -

Thanks for the reply, I’ve had a text and a payment before I could even ring them, I’m guessing they were already aware of issues.0
