My little sister has learning dificulties and is really not getting enough help and support! She is 21 and is starting to withdraw from the world and become very depressed. She has help from her parents but she is still struggling. She was bullied at school. She found it really hard in a normal job. Even though she enjoyed meeting new people. I would really like to find out about any support help or advice that can help her be happy and enjoy her life. Maybe how she could live independently and have her own space with the right support. Please help concerned sister

    Hi SamanthaJones

I wonder if  it would be a good idea to talk your concerns over with Mencap: https://www.mencap.org.uk/mencap-direct

    Best Wishes

You can get a GP, Social Worker to refer her to Autism Iniative . They offer loads of courses, days out, meeting other  folks, they have special groups for ladies  .Look on their website for the local group to you.
