How do I prove I need access needs and a companion without the above?

Many years ago, when I lived in Devon, the council did give out cards, very basic, but still proof. I don't think that's done now, I haven't heard of any. I sent off for an Access Card, it costs £15 for three years. It is not an official card but accepted for proof at lots of different venues. It's a photo card with boxes for various needs for disabilities. Hopefully it's okay to add a link so you can read up on it.

Hi @samesong I've previously used disability benefit letters for this kind of things. Is that something you might be able to use?
