When will my Universal Claim close?

If someone is claiming Universal Credit but their earnings increase so that they no longer receive any payments will their claim close automatically or do they need to ask that this is closed?

Your claim will remain open for 6 months and then close.You may want to leave it open just incase your earnings drop enough for there to be some entitlement.0
