PIP tribunal help required

Looking for any help any one can provide offer please?   I applied for PIP due to having a condition called Gigantism of my left foot, I’ve had approx 15/16 operations over my life and another one due very soon.
I applied for PIP and was rejected being told I only scored 4 points so I then completed Mandatory Reconsideration. I followed all guidelines and explained how I was having aides fitted at my home to help my balance in bathrooms and other help at home. I also explained how much pain I am in when walking and even just sitting.    My reconsideration has been rejected so I am now going to apply for tribunal appeal. Has anyone been through this process and can offer any help please?

You are definitely not alone here. The most likely out come of the MR is the decision doesn’t change so it’s no surprises there.

There’s more chance at Tribunal stage providing you either appear in person or have a telephone/video hearing.

You can request the appeal online here https://www.gov.uk/appeal-benefit-decision/submit-appeal you just need to give a brief reason why you disagree with the decision for now. Any additional evidence can be sent at a later date.

You do not need to send anything that you already sent because they will receive everything from DWP. You will also receive a copy of everything in the “bundle”

I would also advise you to have a read of this because it will help with a little more understanding of the descriptors. https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/personal-independence-payment-assessment-guide-for-assessment-providers/pip-assessment-guide-part-2-the-assessment-criteria

Sadly it can take months and months depending on the workload in your area.  I'm currently approaching 11 months since I submitted my appeal.

I would say potentially 10+ months.
