I've recently had a letter and form to attend jury service but I'm struggling with my mental health I suffer with depression and anxiety and find it hard to leave the house, I'm just asking if any one has been in the same position and if you need to get a doctors letter to let the jury service know I'm to unfit to attend.
Kind regards

Hi @LML86, I'm afraid I haven't been in this position myself, but this page from Gov.UK's page on Jury service says:
So, it might be worth speaking to your doctor to get one, but you'd need to be quite prompt in doing so as I believe you don't have long to do it.To ask to be excused, reply to your jury summons explaining your reasons in detail. You might need to give proof, for example, if you’re ill you might be asked for a letter from your doctor.0 -
Thanks for your advice Adrian_Scope

also phone the court in question as well to explain your situation. they do let people not do it if you have good reasons. i believe your situation counts as a good reason.0
