What PIP award do you have exactly and how much PIP do you receive every 4 weeks?0

Hello @Alfie2023 and welcome to the community.
It does sound as though there may be some confusion as to how much they are deducting the total repayment amount. Do you still have the original overpayment letter?
You also mentioned how the situation is making your mental health worse. Are you receiving any support with this?0 -
I have found my letter saying I owed two over £1.867 from 2007 to 2009 for an over payment and or loan from between them 2 years and I have been getting deductions for 10 years plus now from my esa and past 2 years my pip too but I have paid thousands back over this length of time and they say it not gonna stop till 2028 which will be well into double figures by then and I have had no answers regarding this money just robbed off0

I felt like due to my mental health I have been took advantage of with my esa claim from day 1 and also been mocked in my pip assessment report and everything said unit was the total opposite of what was spoken and discussed totally back to front and was not given points properly which I should have been awarded and when I appealed my new diagnosis were not took into account and was not given anymore points for my ptsd or my copd and it just depressed me further so just let dwp win yet again and left me so0

Are you 100% certain there's deductions from your PIP. As you're claiming ESA they don't usually deduct anything for an overpayment from your PIP, it will normally be just from your ESA.
You didn't answer my question I asked here.poppy123456 said:What PIP award do you have exactly and how much PIP do you receive every 4 weeks?0 -
Hi sorry I'm only just getting back to you I'm on income related esa with support group and should have been on £260 a fortnight but from start I have only got like £225 a fortnight so have been deducted minimum of £25 to £35 a fortnight from like 2017 and I was awarded pip 2 years ago it's till March this year I'm sure I was getting around £420 every 4 weeks pip payment but say into my 3rd pip payment it dropped to £380 4 weekly so I then got a letter off two this being the now 3rd letter over the last10 years saying I I still owe a£2.500 overpayment that will not stop being deducted till 2028 and my mate told me I cut be deducted off both payments so phoned pip and they he totally different amounts I was ment to owe over an over payment that is from back in 2007 to 2009 when I only got pip in 2022 they told me to call for which I did yet again and was robbed off yet again I have wrote to do but still in being told its right when I have added up my ten year deductions and it's in double figures of thousands and just couldn't cope with always being dismissed knowing it's not right but just made me severely depressed and just have up I truly believe I am owed a lot of money no from wrong deductions but I had enough thanks0

I really need. Some help to get some answers I mean are dwp even allowed to take money no over a 6 year of no contact with me and also to have an end date of 2028 over 11 years from start of deductions at like £70 a month off was and then 2 years ago a£40 from my pip every 4 weeks that's a help of a lot more than £2.500 overpayment recovery money I have added up what's roughly been deducted and it's 4 times £2.500 and some0

From start my claim has been wrong I worked full time and my mum died so I ended going on Sep through dwp ment to be a 13 week period which dwp didn't tell me they just told me that they would inform me when this time was up I constantly had footnotes sent across to dwp automatically from my doctor well it was 39 weeks before dwp told me that I should have stopped claiming Ssp 16 weeks earlier which I didn't know I had to do so I I had had a breakdown due to grief and my doctor was not sending 3 month footnotes into dwp I was told I was to claim esa but I would have to stay on ssp money until I had a medical which I cancelled my first 1 and was told I would get next 1 in post which I did but it came the day after date on letter so 3rd was ment to be sent which never arrived and my Ssp payment was stopped and was told I wasn't entitled to any money until I had medical which would take up to 6 months so I feel into deep depression and was in bad way suicidal I also took overdose 2 times due to it all the whole time I still had footnotes sent across to dwp I was told after 5 months only way I could claim any money I would have to claim income support which I did but was declined as I was not got enough to work but dwp knew there were getting footnotes for me the whole time anyway in September 2018 I was awarded esa and given backlash just under £700 for the whole period of time at ssp rate which should have been backdated to me at esa rate which was just under £3000 I rang up to quietly it but was told I was wrong and been same answer to everything I have questioned and just was not mentally strong enough so just let them get away with it but enough enough they have ripped lots of people off and I truly believe in one of those people who has been ripped off please help me I have suffered with coping in severe hardship due to undergarments for many years now that includes pip appeals being given low points which a high court has told dwp that they have awarded people points for pip wrongly and well under what should have been awarded again I believe that includes my case and failed pip claims and appeals0

I'm finding it very difficult to follow your timeline. Your Issue is very complex too so for this reason I'd advise you to get some expert advice from an agency near you. This way you'll be able to take all your paper work to them for them to have a look to see exactly what's happening.
Sometimes it's just not possible to give this level of advice on an internet forum because I can't see any of the paper work and we could be here a very long time trying to work out exactly what's happened.
This link will help you find an advice agency that's local to you. welfare-benefits0 -
