Hi all , just wanted to give you a little update on my Pip claim and time frame. I started my pip claim at the end of November , filled the form in , in December , had a telephone assessment on 5th Feb , yesterday morning I had the text message to say I've been awarded Pip. Of course the message doesn't say which rate I'll get so I've gave them a ring and the gentleman told me I got standard rate for mobility & living which I'm happy with. He also told me when I'll get the first payment and how much back pay will be paid , all of which will be paid next week . Just to say its all been a pretty painless experience,  from claiming , having the assessment, etc ..
I'd read some horror stories about people's claims , so I just wanted to say it's not always the case that you have to fight for what you're entitled to.

That is fantastic news, and I hope its the entitlement you was expecting. Based on this timeline then the total time was 14 business days from assessment to decision. That is pretty good going
