I would love to have been able to get into livestreaming - or podcasting, or vlogging (I watch a few DJs online) - but that feels a little beyond my technical know-how... and budget!!! (camera/microphone/software etc)Albus_Scope said:I'm liking Rosies DJing idea! I'm also an ex DJ @UKDJ and used to love it. I still have a muck around using a laptop and some software, though I miss using vinyl or CDs. Maybe you could look into doing some online streams to entertain yourself and other people?
I really like the idea of being able to 'work' from home, though... hence the online proofreading idea.0 -
@UKDJ live streaming is actually very easy, but can look very daunting to a beginner, so I totally understand. When I used to livestream and do youtube videos, I found a program called "OBS" very good and easy to use, plus it's free. Most laptops already have a mic and camera built in, so it's perfect for a bit of a muck around. Maybe even look into helping people learn how to DJ?
