Hello can any one help me I claim pip for both full components and my award is for another 2 year but my parter who loves with me and works full time (he don't claim pip just me ) and we're not married
His about to get about 150k in inheritance. Will this mean my pip will stop? It will be in his bank account till her works out what to do with it ie a biggerp house etc. I just wanted to no do I notify dwp and will my claim then end when he gets this money into his bank account?

PIP isn’t means tested so not affected by savings/capital or a working partner.
If you’re not claiming any other benefits then there’s nothing to report.0 -
Hi @goldy1691, as Poppy has said, PIP isn't means tested, so you don't have to worry about losing your award. The only issue would be with other benefits that are means tested, such as Universal credit.0

You will be claiming UC as a couple because it's a means tested benefit so yes this will stop once the money goes into your partners bank. Your partner will need to make sure they report the changes to UC.
Your ESA isn't means tested so that will continue as normal.
Also if you're claiming any council Tax reduction, this will also end and your partner will need to make sure they report the changes to your local Authority.0 -
Thank you xx0
