Blue badge - trafford council

Has anyone applied for a blue badge through trafford council?
I have applied for pip, but I think I would probably get the lower mobility rate (if anything at all, after the horror stories I have read). 
Trafford council have quite restrictive criteria, so I have applied but I don't think I will get anywhere. They are a rubbish council to start with and have been going downhill in a lot of different areas over the last few years (not cleaning roads, not collecting bins, basically fobbing off my entire street when we put in a noise complaint about one of our neighbours and much more slacking that makes me wonder where they are actually spending their funding).
I feel like I really do need a blue badge. I have a rare autoimmune disorder and the fatigue and aching is rapidly getting worse. My work is also being awkward about parking, so a blue badge would allow me to park right next to my work instead of having to park really far away and then it takes me ages to get there (and I'm really tired before even starting my work).
