Hi
I have a question about sdp. Who do I contact to get this I currently receive LCWRA and pip at standard rate since 2021. I’ve also checked me Universal Credit statement and can see that it has not automatically been applied when I receive pip and housing benefit.

Hi Welcome to the community,You don't get SDP with UC and LCWRA. You only qualify if you have income related Employment Support Allowence (ESA), Income Support or Income related Job-seekers allowence (JSA) and have PIP Daily Living. You can see the Eligability here: https://www.gov.uk/disability-premiums/eligibilityHope this helps.0

Hello @ka101 welcome to the community, I hope you've had a good weekend
As Rubin posted above, unfortunately being on Universal Credit doesn't qualify you for SDP. There's also a little about it on the Scope website if you'd like to read about it.
I'll pop your question over to our benefits and financial support boards in case you have any more questions

LCWRA is part of UC, it's not a benefit on its own. Rubin is correct, SDP doesn't exist with UC, the same as all other disability premiums.ka101 said:Hi

Thank you for your response I currently have PIP daily living does that mean I am entitled to it?rubin16 said:Hi Welcome to the community,You don't get SDP with UC and LCWRA. No you don't get it with Universal Credit, Its only with old style legacy benefits such as Income Related Employment Support Allowence (ESA), Income Support, Income Related Jobseekers Allowence (JSA) or Pension Credits who have disability premiums.

PIP daily living is just part of the qualifying criteria. As you're not claiming any of the other benefits mentioned by Rubin, then you do not qualify.ka101 said:

Rubin and Poppy are right @ka101, it can be a little confusing but you would need to be on one of the old-style benefits as well as your PIP to be eligible for SDP.
Universal Credit isn't one of the eligible benefits, so you won't be entitled even though you are on PIP. I hope that makes sense
