Hi since l had spinal surgery, for Scheuermanns Decease 16 years ago, l was being admitted into hospital about three or four times per year, with breathing difficulties. At that time l was told that l have non obstructed sleep apnea and given a CPap machine, which l use every night as my blood saturation levels fall to around 84%.
However, 16 years on and l have recently been seen by a neurologist and had a CT scan, the doctor advised me that l do not and never have had any type of apnea, but l do have a severe Lordosis affecting my neck. Should l stop using the CPap machine? And what is a Lordosis, l have had surgeries for spinal kyphosis and scoliosis.0 -
Hi Robs
It's not in our place to advise on the use of the CPAP machine, you should ask that question of your medical team, you have asked what Lordosis is I have added this link for you to take a look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lordosis
