Hi Charlene!
Welcome to the community.
You might be interested to take a look at the cerebral palsy category:
https://community.scope.org.uk/categories/physical-impairments-and-cerebral-palsy
and the parents and carers category:

Scope offers home visits to people with a new diagnosis if you'd be interested? They can talk you through everything if you feeling a bit overwhelmed. Let me know your whereabouts in the country I can pass you on to the correct person. There's also lots on the main website: https://www.scope.org.uk/support/families/diagnosis/cerebral-palsy
Look forward to chatting with you!

Hi @weechaz1,
Nice to meet you here in the online community. I can see you already well advised by @alex. It s very important to get the best possible advise at the really stages of any diagnosis. No many organisations are so helpful and replay so promptly. I am happy scope is so much involve into community online services I wish more charitable and non to profit were thinking the same way.
Well done.
