Pip Capita Assessment Audit

This is my first time applying for pip. I had a telephone assessment 12th March, after it never went back to dwp they said it is in audit and just needing some amendments (which I guess is a bad thing). My gp sent a form back to them that they requested on 8th March. Does anybody have any idea how long it will take to be amended? I suffer with anxiety etc and the waiting is so stressful.

An audit means they are checking the assessor has done their job correctly. It doesn't mean anything other than that.
There are no timescales how long it will remain in the audit. Once it's completed the report will be returned to DWP. Then a decision can take anything up to about 12 weeks.
I totally understand how stressful the waiting is but there's nothing you can do in the meantime. I've yet to hear of anyone that doesn't find the process very stressful. Try to focus on something else while you wait.0 -
Just to update, I never received a text to say dwp received my report but just got a text that I have been awarded pip and a decision letter is in the post. So happy right now.2
