Good morning folks
How highly do you regard having good empathy and and good manners esp in a relationship?

I think good manners are a requirement for me (from both myself and the other person/people) in all areas of life! When interacting with a shop assistant let alone in a relationship!
Having good empathy is a nice trait as well, I tend to gravitate more towards people with that but I do have a few people I know who I am happy to say are not overly empathetic, and that doesn't put me off wanting to talk to them

I think some empathy is certainly needed, but even with that communication is very important.
Manners is certainly needed for me. If you cannot stay polite and nice to the person who is meant to be your partner in life that's a big red flag for me.1 -
