Unable to get a passport photo id for blue badge

I do not have a passport or driving licence, I need a passport style photo for a blue badge application plus housing application as I'm in a wheelchair. Can anyone advise?

    Hi @JadeyT - I was in the same position as yourself when renewing my Blue Badge. I got my son to take a photo of me, tho you could do it yourself, then checked with the government guidelines as to what was needed. Please see: https://www.gov.uk/photos-for-passports   this made me realise that the photo I'd had taken wasn't exactly right, so I cropped it until it seemed OK & saved that option for use, which worked as far as the photo goes!

    I just took a selfi of myself and cropped it to remove all the background.  Had to be taken against a white plain background and show the full face without grinning.  was accepted no problem by my local authority,

    You can take your own (I do) sit or stand against a plain background (I sit against my bedroom door as it is white) then take a selfie, do not smile, take of glasses if you have reactions lenses - and that works perfectly well for all needs except perhaps passports themselves

    Assuming that the premises are wheelchair-accessible, you should be able to get a passport-style photo taken at various photo-processing shops, chemists and so on, I think.

    I think we can simply enter the disabled person’s vehicle registration plate into a special database so that blue badge privileges are tied to the vehicle registration plate.
