2 things really,
1. I have my first (new style)esa assessment Interview next week (having been on assessment rate since 2.9.93) and any advice on potential questions would be appreciated (I am already in receipt of full rate pip so am (?naively) hoping to get full rate esa.
2. My retired husband gets approx £309 a month carers allowance for caring for me - will this be deducted from any esa I get?
many thanks in advance

Your husbands CA will not affect your ESA.I’m afraid I can’t tell you what questions they will ask during your assessment because everyone will be different. For me, they usually want to know what a typical day is like for me. Just make sure you don’t answer any questions with just a yes or no and try to give as much detail as possible.1

It’s normal. Once the assessment report was returned to DWP a decision can take up to 12 weeks.1
