Call from assessor today to say they need more information

Hi guys, it’s me again. So I had my pip review assessment a week ago and didn’t get a text from DWP to say that they had received my written report. As advised by Poppy, I was going to call the independent assessment services today to ask why the written report hadn’t been sent to DWP yet but before I could do that, I received a call today from the assessor who did my interview last week and he said that he needs some more information from me and that he will call again on Wednesday. 

Is this normal? Should I be worried? 

First time ever I actually thought the assessment had gone well and the assessor seemed nice and understanding :(

    I wouldn’t say it’s normal but it does happen. It also sounds like the report is definitely in an audit. 

    I don’t think it means anything other than more information is needed. It won’t be possible to speculate anything at this stage.
