ESA payments for support group short?

Hi everyone, hoping someone can clear this up for me. According to the government website, ESA payments for the support group are "Up to" £138.20 per week.
I got a payment of £481.10. Minus the severe disability premium I get for PIP that's £99.90 per week. Is that correct?
I've been in the support group since I started claiming ESA. Am I misunderstanding how the rates work, or what "up to" means, or am I not getting what I should be getting?
Years ago I got a lump sum of over £4000 because I wasn't getting paid what I should have been- similar situation? Any advice from people who know hugely appreciated. Many thanks.

If your ESA is a single person claim then that amount looks correct to me. SDP isn't £99.90/week, it's £81.50/week.
Your ESA calculation would be the following..
ESA Support Group £138.50
Disability Income Guarantee (Enhanced disability Premium) £20.85
SDP £81.50
Total weekly amount £240.55... Fortnightly amount is £481.10, which is exactly what you received.
SDP is paid in with your ESA not as a separate payment so I don't know what you mean by "minus the SDP."0 -
Hi, thanks for your response. Please let me clarify- I understand that the SDP isn't 99.90- that's what I thought I would be getting per week without the SDP- I was working out what I thought I would be receiving if, hypothetically, I wasn't claiming PIP, which I understand is incorrect.
My thinking was that the dwp calculated two weeks' worth of esa, disability income guarantee, then added the sdp on top of that. Which, with your explanation, I now see does match what I'm getting.
I don't know why or how I worked out that I was only getting under £100 per week. I have been struggling with post-viral fatigue, and haven't been taking my antidepressants, plus maths was honestly never my strong point. Thank you for taking the time to help me.

As you’re claiming UC as well then your payments increasing will depend on what date you usually receive your money each month. No one will receive the increase this month and the first increase will be for assessment periods that start on or after 8th April. Some won’t see the increase until their June payment.Don’t forget also that the amount deducted from your UC for the ESA will also increase.0
