I have been waiting 12 days for the results of a poo virus test on a sample handed to my GP on 10th April - how long should I wait for the results ?
nb NOT bowel cancer screening (I've had those already)

I've had relatives not having been contacted after sending off samples, apparently you have to initiate the contact
Nothing was out of the ordinary, I'd like to think if it was anything sinister, they would have made contact0 -
i would ring your gp surgery in the morning0

If you have online access to your medical records, the results might be shown on there.
Even before Covid I had to ask for the results of a stool sample though. So as above, it seems like they don't tell you unless there's something wrong.0 -
