The importance of quick deletion

I made a thread in here yesterday and saw that there is no delete or edit option. I clicked on the gear icon but it showed no options no matter what browser I used. I then saw that you can ask admin in the comments to remove the post. I did this and also emailed community@scope.org.uk asking for it to be deleted. Additionally, I reported the post and clicked other and asked again for it to be deleted there. There should be a delete button for when people might be in vulnerable situations. Someone's safety could depend on needing to immediately delete a thread, like if a victim of domestic abuse has reason to believe their partner or ex is or might see their post, this would be crucial. Please sort this out scope.

This is a good point actually
If it helps, you can still edit the post and delete what you wrote and just replace it with something random1 -
There is no way to edit, the gear icon is coming up with no options1

Hi @MOPaudit, Sorry it took a while for your discussion to be deleted. We do try to ensure that reports are processed as soon as possible and I can understand your concerns about why this is so important. You've done all the right things here by trying to get in touch with us, so I'll pass your feedback on to the team so we can look into it.1
