It looks as if I will have to have an op on my shoulder (s?) - due to having non-improving rotator cuff !!
They have to grind bone away, to make the ball joint smooth
Anyone had this done ?
Was it successful ?
I am concerned about such things as "How do I wipe my bum, after the toilet" ?

Oh blimey, I hope the operation(s) goes smoothly!  I'd have thought due to certain aspects of life, they may do one at a time?

but is the failure - any worse, more painful than pre-op ?
And how long were your shoulders / arms out of use for - after the op ?
How did you cope with wiping your bum after the toilet ?

had the right one done first as was a lot worse that one took a lot of recovery like 6 months left one was a lot easier  went back milking after a week after the 2nd one all mine were done with keyhole surgery i have to say they feel a lot better than they were pre op  get a twinge now and again but doing what i did thats understandable never had a problem with toilet needs as had them done at separate times the pain before and after i would say is well worth it you will be fine chap

Good luck @Wibbles, it sounds like it was pretty successful for Michael, despite one taking several months to recover. Hopefully it goes as well as his second operation!

I saw the physio a few days ago - she was going to refer me to the shoulder surgeon - so it looks as if an op IS on the cards.
My shoulders are getting more and more painful by the day
