in Start here and say hello!
Hello everyone, I hope you are well, I have MS and have just received a letter but it says I get my 1st payment on 8th December which is a bit weird I hope they have made a mistake because why would I have to wait 6 months for a payment, I think my first claim was December 23 so they got dates mixed up

    Hi @walshy01, welcome to the community. Is this a letter for PIP, or another benefit?

    That date doesn't sound quite right, perhaps you could try ringing to see if they can clear things up for you? If it's PIP you're claiming, the number is: 0800 121 4433 :)
